You are not the problem. You are allowed to be different.

Ohhhhhhh we're halfway there! Day 15 of #theampersandproject! Excited that this has really become a daily habit and really enjoying the conversations and food for thought that have come from it. I have to give a major shoutout to both Douglas and Violeta in particular for being there with me each day, sharing their awesome thoughts and feedback throughout!

Yesterday on Instagram, I shared a behind-the-scenes look at how I put together an audio clip, starting from gathering ideas to recording to uploading to Soundcloud and finally to providing context on the blog and hitting schedule. It was fun to give friends a little peek at the simple process I've been using. Hopefully it demonstrates that you don't have to get super fancy to do some sort of daily project, even with audio!

Today's clip could have gone on a lot longer because there's so much to be said on this topic, but for brevity's sake, I kept it to my main point. I talk about recognizing and affirming that you can be different from your colleagues and approach your work in a different way. I mention some ways you can sense that you're trying to fit a round peg in a square hole and what that means for you moving forward. (SO much more to be said!)

Over to you: Have you ever felt like maybe you're not quite like everyone else at your work? How does that manifest for you? What do you do as a result?
